Sports Connect sits inside the PlayMetrics portfolio following the May 2026 SportsEngine acquisition, alongside several overlapping sibling products. Its distribution runs through national governing-body affiliations, so it is worth confirming what your affiliation actually requires before assuming the platform is fixed in place.
What can come across, and how you get it here.
There is no automatic import from Sports Connect, and we will not market one. Each record type below names the rung of our migration ladder it is reached from — the self-serve rungs are free to do yourself, and the hands-on rungs are a paid, quoted service.

Switching from Sports Connect: common questions.
Does our national affiliation stop us switching platforms?
That depends on your governing body, and it is the first thing to check. Some affiliations require particular reporting rather than a particular platform. Get the requirement in writing before you plan the sequence, because it changes what has to run in parallel.
Can we import our old registration forms?
The questions and fields come across, rebuilt from your current forms with our templates. Historical submissions import when your export includes them cleanly. There is no automatic form converter, and we will not claim one.
Will families have to pay again to re-register?
No. Balances come across as ledger notes so nobody is billed twice for a season already paid. What does not transfer is stored card and bank details — those are re-entered once by each family, securely, wherever your group turns online payments on.
How messy is a legacy Sports Connect export?
Older formats often combine names or addresses into single columns and flatten households. That is exactly what assisted mapping is for: you send the export, we line up the columns and rebuild households, and you approve a preview before anything is written.
