Acceptable Use

Acceptable Use Policy

Golbi is built for clubs, teams, schools, and nonprofits. This policy explains what is not allowed and how we respond when it happens.

Last updated June 2, 2026. This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses Golbi, including organizations, administrators, staff, members, and guardians. It works alongside our Terms of Service. Breaking this policy may lead to enforcement action, up to and including account termination.

Content you may not post

  • Unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or hateful content.
  • Content that sexualizes minors or otherwise violates child-safety laws.
  • Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Private or personal data shared without a lawful basis or the consent it requires.

Behavior that is not allowed

  • Harassment, threats, bullying, or targeting of any person or group.
  • Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or deceptive marketing.
  • Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Illegal activity, fraud, or facilitating the same through Golbi.
  • Impersonating another person, organization, or Golbi itself.
  • Scraping, automated harvesting, or bulk extraction of data you are not authorized to access.
  • Attempting to access organizations, accounts, or data that are not yours.
  • Interfering with, overloading, or disrupting Golbi's systems or security.

A clear line on protecting children

Many organizations on Golbi work with children. Any content or conduct that endangers a child, including child sexual abuse material, grooming, or exploitation, is strictly prohibited and will be removed. We may report such activity to the appropriate authorities. Organizations are responsible for following the child-safety laws and consent requirements that apply to them.

What happens when this policy is broken

Depending on the severity and history of a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions. We try to use the least disruptive action that resolves the problem, but serious violations may lead to immediate termination.

  • A warning explaining the problem and asking for correction.
  • Removal or restriction of the offending content.
  • Temporary suspension of an account or organization.
  • Permanent termination of access.
  • Referral to law enforcement where required or appropriate.

Updates to this policy

Golbi may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the date above.
